VENT ENGINEERING OFFER ROOF VENTILATOR FOR EVACUATING SMOKE

The Vent Engineering Ventec Ostro ® 140° opening roof ventilator has been designed with the primary function of evacuating smoke. It can be used in most building types as a head of the smoke shaft or stair to extract smoke from common corridors, stairs or lobbies’.

This is to create a safe escape for the occupants and a smoke free area for access by fire fighters. EN12101-2 requires that a single leaf opening roof ventilator should open to at least 140° to reduce the chance of a negative discharge occurring due to wind pressure.

Features:

  • Standard sizes available for next day delivery
  • Aerodynamically tested to BS EN 12101-2.
  • Life cycle tested to class RE 1000 under BS EN 12101-2.
  • Tested to withstand wind loads of class WL 1500 and snow loads of up to class SL 500 under BS EN 12101-2.
  • Easily installed to weather proofed kerbs provided by others.
  • CE Marked and compliant to applicable European regulations.
