​FAKRO Type F flat roof window redefines performance standards

The FAKRO Type F flat roof window has redefined the visual aesthetic for such products, a wide range of sizes matching standard skylights to enable quick and easy replacement. It is equipped with energy-efficient triple glazing, the internal pane of which is to anti-burglary Class P2A. The window has an installed U-value of 0.88 W/m²K and is, therefore, suitable for Passivhaus construction.

The window’s highly contemporary styling was awarded a prestigious Red Dot Design Award, the first for such a product. Subsequent introduction of the ‘ColourLine’ option now enables specification of the outer cladding in any colour from the RAL ‘Classic Palette’. Whether to blend with a green roof, terrace landscaping or the interior design features of a loft conversion the scope this provides is extensive. Manually and electrically operated options are available together with non-opening windows.
