Michelmersh celebrates 12 shortlisted projects at the 2026 Brick Awards

Michelmersh is proud to have twelve projects shortlisted at this year’s Brick Development Association (BDA) Brick Awards, a continued testament to the strength, versatility, and trusted quality of its clay brick products across the built environment.

Now in its 50th year, the BDA Brick Awards remain one of the most respected accolades in the construction industry, championing architectural excellence, innovation, and outstanding craftsmanship. This year’s shortlist reflects the breadth of ambition and creativity across the sector, from individual homes to large-scale housing schemes, education buildings and specialist brickwork.

Michelmersh products feature across a wide spectrum of shortlisted entries, from private houses and barn conversions to university buildings, large housing developments and urban regeneration. Their presence highlights the Group’s ability to support both contemporary design and sensitive restoration with materials that balance durability, beauty and environmental responsibility.

“We’re delighted to see 12 outstanding projects recognised at this year’s Brick Awards; each one a demonstration of what clay brick can achieve when paired with strong design and expert construction. In a year where the industry has had to balance ambition with affordability, these projects prove that doesn’t mean compromising on quality. From individual homes to large-scale regeneration, every project on this list reflects a clear commitment to collaboration, context and construction quality. We thank our partners for continuing to choose Michelmersh products and congratulate all the shortlisted teams.”
