Performance
URSA WALLTEC BLACK 32 and URSAPAN BLACK are the ONLY glass mineral wool insulation products approved by the British Board of Agrément (BBA) for use as a sheathing insulation in rainscreen cladding façade and are deemed non-combustible with a fire classification of Euroclass A1 when tested to EN 13501-1:2018 Reaction to Fire. URSA WALLTEC BLACK 32 and URSAPAN BLACK are CE marked and Declaration of Performances (DoPs) are available.

Versatility
Suitable for new-build or refurbishment in domestic and non-domestic projects, URSA WALLTEC BLACK 32 and URSAPAN BLACK is suitable for ventilated façade systems and masonry outer leaf buildings, and can even be used as soffit insulation.
In ventilated façade systems, URSA WALLTEC BLACK 32 and URSAPAN BLACK can be used on buildings of any height, buildings above 25m with a masonry outer leaf are subject to additional design guidance (see BBA Certificate).

Large slab sizes
URSA WALLTEC BLACK 32 and URSAPAN BLACK is supplied at 1350mm x 600mm sizes, so they should take less time to install and take fewer deliveries than standard size panels.

Aesthetics
URSAPAN BLACK AND URSA WALLTEC BLACK 32 feature a black glass fibre tissue facing on one side, applied during the manufacturing process. The black tissue facing allows the product to be used behind open joint cladding without being visible.
