Introduction
2025 was a landmark year for Aico as we celebrated 35 years in business. It was a time to reflect on how far we have come and the impact we continue to make across home life safety, connected homes and our wider communities.
With 6.25 million products sold, we exceeded 2024 performance, surpassed our targets and achieved another record-breaking year.
Events and Awards
The Social Housing Professional Network Roadshow returned for its third year, with 16 stops nationwide welcoming 1,000 attendees from 400 organisations. Expert sessions from Trowers & Hamlins supported housing professionals in navigating an evolving legal landscape, reinforcing the value of collaboration and shared learning.
Our work was recognised through several prestigious awards, including Champion of Champions at the Shropshire Business Awards, alongside accolades from the Fire Resilience Excellence Awards and IFSM. We also achieved a top 1% EcoVadis Platinum Rating, ranking Aico among the top 1% of over 150,000 companies assessed globally and highlighting our commitment to sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Supporting Installers
A major milestone was the launch of our Platinum Partner Initiative, building on our Gold Standard Installer programme. This recognises organisations demonstrating exceptional commitment to raising standards in home life safety, with Sureserve announced as our first Platinum Partner.
Education remained central to our mission. We delivered almost 3,000 training sessions, engaging more than 20,000 professionals across the housing and electrical sectors. Our Installer Community grew to over 7,000 members, with £6,000 worth of prizes given away to recognise installers’ vital work.
HomeLINK: Innovation with Purpose
2025 was pivotal for our Bristol team, who moved into a new office, doubled in size and launched the HomeLINK Case Management Portal. This proved particularly timely with the introduction of Awaab’s Law, helping social housing providers respond effectively to damp and mould concerns.
We also delivered Damp and Mould Action and Awareness Week for the second year, creating meaningful sector-wide engagement through webinars and educational content.
Community at the Heart of Aico
Our CSR programme remains embedded across the organisation, driven by colleagues who actively support local communities. Project SOS returned at Woodside Primary School, while initiatives such as our Halloween Kids Club reinforced our commitment to families and education.
In 2025, Aico supported 2,600 students, provided work experience to 40 individuals, delivered 54 educational visits, donated nearly £400,000 to good causes, fundraised £20,500 and volunteered 1,506 hours locally.
Looking Ahead
As we move into 2026, we remain focused on innovation, education and partnership. Thank you to our colleagues, partners and clients for being part of the Aico journey as we continue to make homes safer for everyone.
