Project Overview
Situated just behind the iconic London Eye, Seven is the final building within the Southbank Place development. The building offers unique residences with extraordinary Thames-facing panoramic views of the city.
As experts in both wet and electric underfloor heating, we were approached by FG Mechanical to provide a variety of heating systems for the project, working alongside M&E consultant Caldwells to deliver the right solution for the project.
Our team supported FG Mechanical at the early stages of tender, providing VE alternatives to help keep costs within the customer’s budget.
We also worked closely with the Contracts Manager to help provide technical and specification support for three different types of heating – wet underfloor heating, electric underfloor heating and electric wall heating.
We designed, supplied, installed and commissioned all three systems for 92 plots over 13 floors, including wet underfloor heating pipe in screed and electric underfloor heating cables in decoupling membrane.
As we provided such a range of different heating systems on the project, we were able to be even more flexible on-site, working to the programme and requirements of different areas of the project.
Project Size - 92 plots over 13 floors
System - Wet underfloor heating, electric underfloor heating and electric wall heating
Date of Installation and Commissioning - June 2024 – April 2025
