One tested through-the-wall system incorporating 3 Saint-Gobain brands for various multi-storey applications, including housing

GypLyner Xternal combines British Gypsum board, Isover insulation and Intrastack light gauge steel framing system (SFS) into one through-the-wall system, tested as a whole. All three come from Saint-Gobain, so you specify once and there's one place to go with a question.

Fully tested, inside to out and outside to in

The system is tested to BS EN 1364-1 for 60, 90 and 120 minutes of fire resistance, both inside to out and outside to in. It reaches up to Rw 56 dB tested sound insulation.

Isover Polterm Max Plus is a stone wool insulation for rainscreen and masonry cladding build-ups. A water-repellent additive limits water absorption and a black glass veil stops the insulation showing through the façade. It achieves Euroclass A1 Reaction to Fire classification.

Glasroc X sheathing board is BBA-certified for external façades and tested for up to 12 months weather exposure so the interior work can start before the façade is completed. On a programme where the handover date is already fixed, it helps keep your project moving.

Intrastack light gauge steel framing sits behind all of it as the infill to the primary structure, designed for multi-storey and multi-occupancy buildings.
